a girlie weekend in lakeville.

I have to start by saying that I have been blessed with some great girlfriends and a great family (plus a super great boyfriend). This weekend I went home with Cobe and Claudia, we had such an amazing and relaxing time! Cobe and I arrived on Friday night. We stopped at the Boathouse to order sushi for takeout and sat at the bar sipping wine while we waited. It was so nice to sip wine and chat. On Saturday Cobe and I picked Claudia from the train and then drove to Millerton to get some yummy sammies at Irving Farm. Then we had to explore some shops - we spent about an hour in an antique store digging through all the vintage clothes, so fun. Check out my new dress... I almost bought the shoes but I was a good girl (can I go back and get them next time I'm home?).
After shopping we went to Hotchkiss to watch Cobe's little sister Kelsey play lacrosse. Her parents and sister Courtney were there too and it was so beyond amazing too see them. Her family is a like an extended family to me, I love them all and it was so great to see them. Claudia and I couldn't resist some more shopping so we ran up to the school athletic store and got some sweet Hotchkiss gear.

For dinner we cooked some grilled venison tenderloin, sweet potatoes and eggplant, soooooooo freakin' good!!! Thank you dad for cooking everything! Everyone goofed off in the kitchen.
On Sunday we went to Chiawalla... chaiHOLLA... for brunch!!!
The food was sooooooooooooooo good. Their desserts are out of this world!!!
Check out the strawberry and rhubarb cobbler...
Awww mom and dad:)
I can't believe we graduated from Hotchkiss 7 years ago!!!
After brunch we walked over to Noble Horizons to see the bird house auction. Local artists all made bird houses that are being auctioned off. Both my parents made birdhouses.
They are so talented!
